Until now, smaller printers have had no test form to calibrate their presses. PIA/GATF has designed two test forms for testing digital and conventional printing systems, one for single-color presses and one for multicolor printing presses. The Four-Color Test Form is used to characterize the color reproduction process and is now available in landscape or portrait design so that the test form can be run long edge or short edge. These test forms are available in film and digital format. Elements of the four-color test form: PIA/GATF Two-Tiered Color Bar, GATF Image Fit Target, PIA/GATF Gray Balance Target, PIA/GATF Highlight/Shadow Target, PIA/GATF Ink Coverage Target, PIA/GATF Star Targets, PIA/GATF High-Key Photograph, PIA/GATF Memory Colors Photograph, PIA/GATF Portrait Photograph, IT8.7/3 Basic Data Set, Tone Scales, PIA/GATF Transfer Grids, GCA/GATF Proof Comparator. Image size: 11x17 in., Supplied in EPS file format.
